Practical AI & automation for small businesses

Less busywork.
More business.

Your team shouldn’t be the glue between your tools. Turn repetitive tasks into dependable workflows—with AI where it helps, and people where it matters.

Small, focused projects. Clear scope. No AI for AI’s sake.

FROM MANUAL TO MANAGEABLE

One less thing
on your to-do list.

  1. THE TRIGGERA new customer enquiry arrives
  2. THE REPETITIVE PARTCapture the details. Update your CRM.
  3. THE HUMAN MOMENTYour team reviews the drafted reply
    You’re in control
  4. THE RESULTA clear next step. Nothing lost in the inbox.

An illustrative workflow, not a claim about client results.

01 / WHAT I BUILD

Start with the work
that keeps coming back.

You don’t need to automate everything.
Just the things that keep getting in the way.

01

Keep enquiries moving.

Capture leads, organise the details, and draft follow-ups for review. Make it easier to give every enquiry a clear next step.

02

Untangle the admin.

Pull useful information from documents, prepare records, and route exceptions to the right person—instead of copying and pasting all day.

03

Connect the dots.

Get the tools you already use talking to each other. Connect forms, inboxes, spreadsheets, and business systems around a real process.

04

Make knowledge useful.

Help your team find and summarise information in your own documentation, with source references and clear limits—not confident guesswork.

LESS HYPE. MORE USEFUL.

Not every problem
needs an AI agent.

Sometimes you need a simple integration. Sometimes AI can make a messy process manageable. Start with the problem, then choose the smallest sensible solution.

Let’s find your starting point

People stay in control.

Decide where approval is needed, what the system may do, and what happens when it’s unsure.

Your data deserves a conversation.

Agree what information goes where, which providers are involved, and who can access it before connecting anything.

Build for the day after launch.

Think through failure paths, monitoring, documentation, ownership, and the cost of keeping it running.

02 / HOW WE WORK

A clear path.
A useful result.

No sprawling transformation programme.
One well-defined workflow at a time.

01

Find the friction.

Walk through the task, the tools, and the exceptions. Choose a specific problem worth solving.

02

Prove the workflow.

Agree on scope and success criteria. Build a focused version and test it with representative examples.

03

Put it to work.

Roll out carefully, document how it works, and agree on handover and any ongoing support.

03 / THE PERSON BEHIND SRVD

Independent.
Hands-on. Practical.

I’m Angus Turnbull. SRVD is where I build automation and AI-assisted workflows for small businesses.

The idea is simple: useful technology should make the working day less complicated, not add another system to babysit. Let’s start with what your business actually needs.

A FEW GOOD QUESTIONS

Before we talk.

Do we need to replace our existing software?

Not necessarily. The starting point is the tools you already use and whether they can support a dependable integration. If something needs to change, we’ll discuss why before making that decision.

How much does a project cost?

It depends on the workflow, the systems involved, and the level of support you need. We’ll agree on a scoped proposal before work starts, including any expected third-party service costs.

Can you work with sensitive business information?

We need to establish the requirements first. Data sensitivity, provider access, retention, and any compliance obligations affect what’s appropriate. Don’t send confidential records in an initial enquiry.

Can a workflow run without human review?

Some tasks can, once their limits and failure handling are clear. Others should keep an approval step. AI output can be wrong; the amount of autonomy should match the consequences of a mistake.

LET’S MAKE SOMETHING USEFUL.

What’s the task
you’d love to stop doing?

Tell me what happens today, which tools you use, and where things get stuck. That’s enough to start a conversation.
